Writing: This term we will continue our focus on personal writing and then move onto imaginative writing. The children will be encouraged to set their own targets to improve their writing and will be given frequent opportunities to self and peer assess their work.
Reading: The children will continue their weekly reading in class and this will be kept updated in their Home/School booklets. All children will complete comprehensive activities in class. The children will take the Accelerated Reader test again in November in order to create lists of books they can read independently.
